Just about all the floor has been dug out by now and a large area of the plaster has been hacked off. Today, Luis is still using the cooker - but at least he has a large piece of worktop on top of it for protection.

Work progressing nicely - amazing what a Kango Hammer can do. Noticed Luis was using my range cooker to stand on for high areas. Had a little word as it's far from ideal - heaviest it's had to deal with up to now is a full chip-pan!

Luis has started work and seems to be very enthusiastic. He has moved the sink into our lounge and spent most of the day hacking away the plasterwork around the lounge door and old back door - and also commenced uplifting floor in the same area. As he is mainly using hand-tools I am quite impressed at how much he got done - was here around 8am and didn't leave 'til about 6pm.
